Baby skates for baby feet. With DOUBLE blades, too!

It's my favorite sport to watch during the Winter Olympics. It's my favorite sport EVER. If you couldn't tell from the picture, I'm talking about figure skating.

Perhaps it's because I'm a former figure skating coach.

Perhaps it's because I'm a former figure skater.

Perhaps it's because I knew from the minute I saw figure skaters gliding on the ice at the rink in the middle of the Houston Galleria, I wanted to join them.

In an effort to prevent forth-coming tantrums, my parents obliged - allowing my sister and me to take a 15-minute introductory class. That's when it began. My six-year competitive career. I have always said that my sister could have competed in the Olympics. She was that good. I, on the other hand, was not. So I resorted to coaching in college and post college.

(As I write this, I'm watching Will Ferrell perform his figure skating routine on Jimmy Fallon. It's pretty funny.)

Now, I coach our daughters. Over the holidays, we skated at the Pink Rink at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. It was amazing. Read about our experience here.

Yes, our girls are only 4 and 2, but they have their own ice skates. Lil Tank's are hand-me-downs from Monkey which I received as a baby shower gift from my friend. She placed them on top of a diaper cake.

I cried when I saw them for the first time. I had no idea such tiny skates could be made and with double blades at that. My husband wanted to know if they came in his size! Unfortunately, they don't. But here's where you can get them for your little ones - Baby Skates. They come in multiple colors including white, pink, brown, blue, purple, red and black.

Monkey wore her first pair several times from the time she was 18 months old to 2 years old.

Monkey is on her second pair of skates now and as you can tell from all the pictures, she could be the next Tara Lipinksi, 1998 Olympic gold medalist, whom I trained with when I was younger.

What about you? What's your favorite winter Olympic sport?
